Okay this is a quick video on how to uh. set up your new key or replacement key. on an E46 BMW uh this is a 2001 330. Coupe 330 TI and uh get the old key. here and we are going to go ahead and. replace or at least uh add the uh the. new key I purchased to the dealership. here so we want to take this key and we. want to go ahead and uh insert it. in. do that five times to the number one. position and we're going to go ahead and. take it hold. down the unlock. key and go ahead and press that three. times the a key and as you heard the uh. key now. works it's now. functioning all right that's it that's. how you do it new ke now functioning uh. all you got to do put it in turn it five. times to the on and off position and. then go ahead and hold down the unlock. button while pressing the lock button. three times and you'll hear the doors.

cycle uh automatically three times that. let you know that you were successful. all right thanks for. watching
