Betfair set the minimum stakes to two. pound. now sometimes you may want to actually. place a bet under that two pound minimum. for instance if the odds move once. you've placed a bet and you just need to. amend it by adding another 20p. to your stake now to do this it's very. simple. say as if we want to lay uruguay here. for 20p. at odds of 1.32 simply click on the. current lay price. now on the backus odds i'd like to. change that to 1.01. the reason i do this is so when i add in. the stake it will remain. unmatched so i'll put the two pound. minimum stake in. and click place bets. what i then want to do is to that two. pound stake add the stake i'd like to. lay. so here i want to lay 20p so i'll then. do. two pound 20 and click update. you can see here betfair has now split. that into two separate bets. this now allows me to cancel that.

Initial bet. so you can see here i'm now left with a. 20 piece stake. and it's odds at 1.01 now what i will do. now. is adjust that to the current lay price. click update and now you can see i have. just made a 20p. lay stake out of 1.3 t. as you can see here if i'd like to back. something for under that two pound. minimum. the process is almost identical there's. only one slight difference which i'll. show you. we'll do the same we'll click 1.31 and. on the odds. instead of putting it to 1.01 we must. put it to 1000. and again the same reason applies. because we'd like to make sure it. remains. unmatched whilst we adjust the figures. here so the same process applies i put. the two pound minimum stake in. and you can see here that now it remains. unmatched. same goes again so i then adjust that to. two pound twenty. because i'd like to um back 20p click.

update. a few open bets and it's now in two. separate sections here again. so i cancel my original bet. update there we go. so i've just got 20p stake there and. i'll now change this. to the current price 1.31 click update. view open bets and there we go so you. can see there i've now. backed a selection at 20p and also laid. it at 20p. that's well under the 2 pound minimum
