Welcome to X for beginners X formerly. known as Twitter is a social media. platform with which users can post short. bits of information to their followers. it's a prominent way for businesses to. grow an audience connect with their. customers and to develop a Brand X is. used both by business profiles and. personal profiles giving it a range of. content from advertisements to simple. jokes as of 2022 X has over 229 million. active users so let's let's begin by. creating your. account to start click on create account. you'll need to input your name as well. as your phone number or in this case. we'll use an email address and lastly. you'll need to input your date of birth. you will then be prompted to enter a. code sent to your login option you will. receive confirmation and a sixdigit. code such as the following enter it and.
Click next you will then need to choose. a password of eight characters or more. and continue to sign up you are then. finished completing and creating your. account our next task is to personalize. and set up your account let's begin by. choosing our profile picture make sure. to follow Community guidelines you can. adjust and apply and your profile photo. is now set up on the left hand side we. can find our X tabs select profile and. we can continue by clicking edit profile. from here we can write our bio something. short and sweet works well we can add. our location as well as any personal. websites we like once you're satisfied. with your public profile make sure to. click on save to finalize any changes. made to finalize our account let's. complete the let's get you setup tab our. first job is to follow five accounts you.
May click on the plus icon and scroll. through suggested accounts and follow. those of you're choosing our next job is. to follow three topics you may scroll. through any hobbies and interests until. you find the ones that you like and from. here our account is now completed with. our five following let's begin by. posting our very first post from your. profile tab you have your personal posts. replies highlights articles Medias and. likes on the bottom left click post this. is where you can write your personal. message and attach any gifts or images. you want once you finalized your message. click post now you can scroll down to. view your very first post where you can. choose to like or reply to your message. as well as repost or view stats on who. liked or reposted your own. post and finally let's use this time to.
Explore X on the top left you'll find. your homepage this is where you will see. posts in chronological order from the. people that you follow we then have the. explore tab where you can search for new. people to follow the notifications tab. allows you to keep track of any new. posts and messages allows you to. communicate with your followers directly. we also have the gro tab Gro is an. integrated AI that will respond to any. questions you may have the list tab. allows you to keep track of your grocery. list nearby and the bookmarks tab keeps. the collection of posts that you've. saved in the community tab you can. interact with larger communities such as. apple or the X Community feedback you. may also choose to upgrade to premium. you've now completed our beginner's. guide on how to use x for further. information the help tab can help expand.
